Get ready...

3 days away from leaving for my 3-week driving trip through California, Oregon and Washington. I noticed today that I have some expectations for this trip, and I was glad to have the realization. Nothing wrong with expectations, and I think it's good to notice them. I want to experience this trip in real-time, not spend the time comparing it to what I think or want it to be or produce for me.

Today I walked out in the backyard and the MOST amazing thing...beautiful cactus blossoms! It is truly miraculous to watch the unfolding of life...in all its beauty.
