The Wave

The wave does not create itself,
direct itself,
or destroy itself.

It is no more separate
from the "ocean"
than the water
that makes it up.

It is created,
moved,
and destroyed
through no will of its own.

Such is the way
for all of us forms
in the "ocean"
of the uncreated void.
